Description: Silver Mountain Ski Resort spans two mountains offering a wide variety of terrain and challenge including an awesome terrain park. They boast 73 named trails plus extensive glade skiing, hidden gems and off-piste adventures on some of the best terrain in the West.

Guide Description:

This ski area totally rocks because there is a gondola! Yes, you feel like you are riding in style right in Idaho! The gondola takes you to the top of the hill (about a 15 min ride) and spits you right out at some great skiing. There is a ton of beginner terrain here and it is a quiet hill to spend the day at. If you are in a mood to change up the normal Schweitzer routine, give Silver a try. Another fun aspect of this hill is the water park! Check out the college deal for Fridays: lift ticket, water park pass, and food voucher. If checking out the skiing isn’t appealing enough, the water park is a must see!

Must Ski Runs:

  • North Face Glades
  • Rendezvous
  • Warner Peak
  • Tall Paul Trees
  • Centennial
