Description: Powder and Sunshine. That’s what people say about Mission Ridge. It’s the place to be with family and friends all winter long. The friendly, casual attitude is contagious and our memorable winters are legendary. Simply put — Mission Ridge delivers. It’s our combination of sunshine, dry snow and wide open spaces. Only 12 miles from Wenatchee, Mission Ridge has more than 36 designated runs spread over 2,000 spectacular acres of trails, chutes, screamers and bowls, with a thrilling 2,250 foot vertical drop. A high speed quad ride to the summit where you can take in views of Mount Rainier to the south and the majestic Columbia River and Mount Stuart to the north. Mission Ridge is on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains. The combination of dry snow and over 300 days of sunshine annually makes Mission Ridge well known throughout the Northwest.
Guide Review: A hometown favorite, Mission Ridge is the best of local flair and varied terrain. Beginner or advance, there is something to do. Snow is generally great, and (on a clear day) there is a full view of the Cascade Mountain range. For a side country adventure, follow a local out to Microwave Tower or The Bomber Cliffs. While you’re at it, ask a local the legend of Prop Man, you will be glad you did! Wenatchee is also the gateway to various outdoor activities, so spend the day skiing and then go enjoy the sights in Leavenworth or Lake Chelan. Grab an apple at the Stemilt Warehouse on the way out of town! Take it from someone with hometown pride, go skiing at Mission Ridge… If you don’t love the Wenatchee Valley after this trip, I will supply you with your choice of apples for the rest of your life.
