Hi my name is Zac (most call me Squeege), I am a Coloradan born and raised in Colorado Springs. My dad has always told me “better out than in” and I have devoted my life to living up to that slogan. In coming to Gonzaga University in 2015 as an avid mountain biker and skier, camper, and climber, I feared that I wouldn’t find many others who had as much stoke for the outdoors as I do. Instead, I found myself right at home in the GU Outdoors program as a bike mechanic and was fervently welcomed into the family with whom I can both adventure to the ends of the earth and have those deep heart-to-heart talks. With being a part of this program, I seek to bring more people to explore and love the outdoors like I do, and for myself, I hope to continue to use the gifts I have to deepen my understanding of life and the world, meet awesome new people, and become a more well-rounded person in the process.
Spirit animal: River Otter
Favorite outdoor place: Crested Butte, CO or Rossland, BC (its a tie)
